shabby chic card

This month our collaborating partner at A blog named hero is May Arts ribbon. They have very beautiful collection of ribbons go check them out.

I have tried a shabby chic card today. I used 2.5 inch open weave burlap net, 5/8 inch adhesive rosettes and 3/8 multi sized beaded string from May Arts ribbon along with Hero Arts chevron background stamp and Stamp n cut butterfly set.

I first white embossed the chevron pattern on a white cardstock and inked it with vintage photo distress ink also inked the adhesive rosettes. Arranged all the ribbons with the help of glue. Die cut the butterfly in white cardstock inked the edges and layered it with a vellum diecut butterfly which gives a look of a wood veneer. Added a couple of pearls at the centre of the butterfly. Stamped the sentiment on white piece of cardstock with black memento ink and inked the edges.

See you soon!! Happy crafting!!
