paper piecing

I always love paper piecing and have made these two cards with this technique. For the first card I have cleared embossed on the gray cardstock and paper pieced the flowers with different pattern papers.  And for the second card I have paper pieced the dog icons. Simon says - create your own background

Here I am sharing a card made for Simonsays wednesday challenge -  Create your own background  Have inked the favorite flowers from  simon says with mustard seed sprayed some water and stamped on the Tim holtz watercolor paper. After its dried have white embossed it. Have does similar stamping and embossing on centre banner. To finish the card have used jute twine, vellum and winke of stella clear glitter on the centre flowers and leaves.


For this fun birthday card I have first clear embossed the background with hero arts happy defination stamp. The balloons are die cut and the threads are hand drawn and to finish the look have added thin strip of pattern paper at the edge Entering this card  ABNH - spell it out for me Casology - three

paw love

I loved this die from paper smooches will be using this die more often now. For this card I have used Freshly made sketch #153. Entering this card for paper smooches sparks challenge - anything goes

Cute little card

The card size is 4 1/4 * 4 1/4 inches. Used retrosketches #131 sketch for this card. The image is die cut, stamped and colored with copic markers.  The heart is stamped and later added glossy accents to it. coloring with distress inks

Today I have tried coloring with distress inks. First I white embossed the image on the watercolor paper. Later colored it with distress inks. Have added glossy accent on the happy die and "birthday" is white embossed. .  Have cased the current Case study challenge 207. The crafts meow celebrating you stamp perfectly matches the designer card shown.  Also entering this card for Create something catchy challenge -  water colors

thinking of you

Today I am playing with Addicted to stamps- thinking of you and AEIHeartUChallenge - clean and simple. For this card I have used 4 different shades of greens. Have used avery elle's Laurel stamp set. Also added some glossy accents on the red berries

Stamps of life Card 1

Hello Everyone, Today I am sharing a card made using the stamps from Stamps of life. I was introduced to this company at the scrapbook expo last month. I so liked their stall and the inspirational cards at the display. I bought a couple of stamps and dies. So if you too are new to this stamp than I want to say they are really very high quality stamps with so many fun images, patterns, everyday stamps, sentiments. They give perfect stamped image with pigment inks but got few blotches with hero arts shadow inks the stamped image is not smooth with dye inks.  These stamps are worth buying the price is low compared to other brands like avery elle, lawn fawn etc.. I am definitely going to buy more stamps from this company.  So in my coming post I will be sharing all cards using Stamps of life stamps and dies. Here is my first card using Flowers2share stamp.
