Spectrum

Today I am sharing a card which is full of colors. Made this card for The gossip column with Taheerah Atchia at  Winnie & Walter blog.
I first inked the paper with distress inks (colors inspired from the rainbow)and ran it through the die cutting machine. Used multifaceted cutaway and randomly arranged the diecut pieces on the card base. For the sentiment stamped xoxo repeatedly on white cardstock. I kept the sentiment simple as I wanted the focus of my card to be on all the colors in the background. The sentiment is from you've got mail stamp set.

Love the scattered pieces of colour - it's such a clever way to interpret the breaking up of light to form a spectrum! A great 'thinker's card'!! Thanks for spreading The Gossip on w&w's The Gossip Column!
